Written by John Kruse, one of the leading experts on Bailiff Law, this consumer friendly guide is essential reading for anyone who comes into contact with a bailiff.
The book is easy to understand and clearly explains the rights
a bailiff has, and also what they cannot do when collecting debts and repossessing goods etc.
I'm here for the same reason as many, I'm sick of bank charges. I received a letter this morning telling me that I was being charged £104 for two direct debits and going £14 over my overdraft limit. I can't afford £104, that'll just make me go overdrawn again next month and bounce more DDs, so then they can charge me again. Well enough's enough. They're making a fortune out of people like me. I'm so pleased that people are starting to stand up to the big banks. <rant over>
Good luck with getting your unlawful bank charges back. You'll find a lot of helpful advice on this forum - it is a friendly place - so the best thing to do would be to have a good read round and when you are ready to start, post a thread in the appropriate institution - ie) Barclays, Nat West etc - then we can all follow your progress and give you any help if you need it.
Please note that I am not a legal expert and all advice given is without prejudice and is purely my opinion only.
