Written by John Kruse, one of the leading experts on Bailiff Law, this consumer friendly guide is essential reading for anyone who comes into contact with a bailiff.
The book is easy to understand and clearly explains the rights
a bailiff has, and also what they cannot do when collecting debts and repossessing goods etc.
What happens if either party fail to comply with a judges directions i.e not submitting a court bundle or documnets they wish to rely on on the day of the hearing in the 14 days before the hearing???
Because they a company has failed to send myself or the court what they wish to use on the day and the 14 days are up so i'm wondering where i stand...
Not unusual I'm afraid. They may try & spring it on you at the last minute & regretably the court will almost certainly allow it.
Have you sent them & the court your bundle, If so write tomorrow (special delivery & fax sending copies to the court) demanding to know where their bundle is & should it not be forthcoming within the next couple of days you will apply to have their claim/defence struck out
