I have just received a parking fine issued by a private company on 16.6.08 for a parking offence on 23.5.08. I parked in a free (free for 2 hours) car park in West Bridgford, Nottingham. It seems I was longer than the 2 hours free as the notice said I parked from 11.54 to 14.15. I have received a notice that I have to pay a £45 fine, which will go up to £90 if not paid within 28 days.
I was unaware until now as there was no ticket issued, but I was caught on camera. They have photographic evidence apparantly.
