Written by John Kruse, one of the leading experts on Bailiff Law, this consumer friendly guide is essential reading for anyone who comes into contact with a bailiff.
The book is easy to understand and clearly explains the rights
a bailiff has, and also what they cannot do when collecting debts and repossessing goods etc.
My question relates to the increasingly publicised retrospective arangements for showroom tax and increases in VED due to come in next year.
I have a two year old diesel Citroen MPV (I have a large family).
The VED renews 1 July and I have just renewed for 6 months only. 1 Jan I will renew for a further 12 months. Am I correct in thinking that this will delay the impact of the higher charges on my wallet for a bit?

This has nothing whatsoever to do with carbon footprints or the environment.
The amount of Co2 your car 'can' emit is not the same as it 'does' emit.
The pensioner with a 4ltr Jaguar and only pops to the shops is not emitting the same amount as a 1000cc car that is used on the average 12,000 miles per year.
If this really was to do with the environment, the tax would have been put on the fuel so that the more miles covered, the more you pay.
It is completely unfair and another of this governments 'lies and conns' and for revenue raising only.
