    Default Is this a Credit Agreement

    This is what I have gotten from Barclaysicon in my little Data Protection Act pack (and I have also sent a CCA request)

    Now this is what they have sent me, is it a cca?

    They have included a statement that you will be advised of the credit limit at the bottom of the first column (Term 4) which is sufficient to comply.

    IMO looks OK providing Page 2 is the back of page 1. Did you take this out 2004? This is the date mentioned in the T&Cs on page 2. If so, it's likely to be correct as the banks have been more careful re. accurate data on recent CCAs.
    I'm sure someone else will check it too...

    Hi heartopp

    THis isn't a copy of an executed agreement because it doesn't comply with s61 of the CCA 1974. However, it is enforceable by a court (s127 of the CCA 1974) as it has your signatureicon and the prescribed terms (albeit on the rear side - foolishgirl's proviso is right). SteveH is correct.

    Have you checked if you've suffered unlawful panalty charges on this a/c.

    If so, you can set about reclaiming them to reduce your debt to BC. Read the guide in Link No1 in my signatureicon below, if y7ou've not done this before.
