I just recieved a second hand sports car last night which i purchased from an dealers advert, it is quite an expensive car, it was advertised as a 1999 car, this is important to me as there was a huge specification change in 1996,

all the dealers paperwork relates to a 1999 car, but the vin number proves decisively that the car is in fact a 1994 model, which i would not have bought at any price,
am i entitled to scream for my full money back and a refund of the £300 delivery charge?

help needed quickly please

Sorry, just to clarify the semantics. When you say its a 1994 car, you do mean MANUFACTURED in 1994, as opposed to being a 1994 MODEL(i.e. designed in 1994 and made for several years)?

manufactured 1994, totally different mechanically to a 1999

Then yes, write a letter rejecting the goods under SOGA icon

1979 as not being as described (give them the info about the discrepancy), and asking them for full refund (including delivery charges) and them to arrange collection of car ASAP, and certainly within 14 days.
