Written by John Kruse, one of the leading experts on Bailiff Law, this consumer friendly guide is essential reading for anyone who comes into contact with a bailiff.
The book is easy to understand and clearly explains the rights
a bailiff has, and also what they cannot do when collecting debts and repossessing goods etc.
me and my partner applied online for a current account for him offering a free overdraft of £2500.00, I filled in all the details at which at the end it stated that I could open an account but there would be no overdraft facility, as I'm always overdrawn with my bank there is no reason to move banks if they are not offering me an overdraft.
Now received loads of cards, pin numbers etc and informed me they are going to write to my bank and employer so that I can change banks, I've not even signed giving them permission. I've written to them and now telephoned them to stop the transfer of account happening. I'd be in an even bigger mess with my bank and direct debits if all I get was a current account with overdraft charges.
Please be aware of what you apply for online as not only do they credit check you but they can change a lot of things over without you even signing for it.
