    Default Ppi & Hsbc

    Hi, I used to have an Equity Release loan with HSBCicon before I remortgaged, which foolishly I paid a PPIicon on.

    I do not now have the loan no./details, can anybody direct me as to how I can obtain these, as I have now changed banks, having settled on refunded charges against my HSBC current account (which I am still paying off the O/D on, re a dmpicon). I am also repaying a Visa Card with HSBC via the dmpicon, and they are charging me more interesticon currently than the payments!

    Can I (1) suspend the interest on the Visa; and (2) claim the PPI back?

    Write to them or pop into a branch and ask for copies of your statements, Branch will have details etc and should be able to search via name

    or you could send them a SARicon (Subject access requesticon) and state you do not have the relavent number but your details are

    name:
    address:
    etc and see what you get back,
