I accidentally went over my agreed overdraft for a couple of days, RBOS charged me the interest for the overdraft for the month so that ok as I am using the overdraft but they have also hit me with a £38.00 charge for going over my agreed limit. Is this charge correct as I thought the standard charge should now be £12.00?
Until the final decision is made on the OFT v The Banks .....Banks are trying to make as much money as they can.....the £12 to date only applies to credit cards ....write to the RBS and tell them if they don't give it you back you will claim it back in the courts...they won't defend a claim for £38.
