Im looking for some advice regards to PPI, i bought a car through welcome finance, however i returned the vehicle to Welcome finance with keys, just parked it outside their office and posted the keys in the leterbox. i wrote to them explaining what i had done, as was my right after i had paid over the minimum term and amount in which i was entitled to return the vehicle, cant remember what the correct terminology is, anyway during the cycle of payments i was also paying PPI, however during this time i was self employed i have been informed that i would not have a leg to stand on if i made a claim on the insurance as i would need to have been employed.
Questions.
1. Was this miss sold
2. Could i still claim against this insurance being miss sold

If you can post more info re dates of purchase and return.
Do you have the CCA, terms and conditions and PPI policy documentation?
You may have to go through the Court system depending upon the dates. If the car loan with PPI was after 14 Jan 2005 then you can start with a reclaim and if no success go through the Financial Ombudsman Service (fos) If it was before that date you should call the FOS first to see if they would consider a claim and if not then you have the option to go to Court.
Please post more information about you particular circumstances so more people can offer advice.
