    Default Barclaycard Statements.

I hve received statements going back to January 2001. My account was opened in October 1997. They have officially denied in writing having any statements prior to January 2001. Is this likely to be true? Has anyone else got back statements from before 2001?

They'll have 'em, but if they've said in writing that they don't have any, then only option is to take them to court and get a court to order them to disclose them. Or make a report to the ICO, Barclaysicon have statements going back along long time.

    Thanks

    Hi Reneg.

On my BC state's (which I still had, so not from BC in response to SARicon), the earliest chgs only started in mid 1999 so, unless you know you had enough early charges to justify delaying your claim, you could consider proceeding without the earliest state's.
