    Default Asda Storecard/GE Money PPI

Hi, Ive just recently found out while checking my mothers storecard statement that there is some form of PPIicon related to that account. I say some form as shes has no info about it and the only way to detect there was any is that its a small print on her statement with a tick. There is no amounts and the statement seems to 'lump' all charges, interesticon together in one figure every month so i cant tell how much the PPI is.

Im pretty sure that the PPI is useless to her now and when she was approached in Asda 4 years ago as she is retired and was then. Infact the agreement was filed in by someone at asda as she couldnt see it without her glasses. The PPI is still being paid.

My problem is that I cant find a figure for what is being paid for the PPI(there just a tick on the statement for PPI) and I cant find a template letter to send for a refund.

I intend to cca these lot but not before I've sorted the PPI out.

Does anyone have a template I could use?

    Thanks

I would think an SARicon request that specifically asks for the PPIicon payments made each month is a good idea - I've copied and pasted this alot today lol but hopefully this can help:-

You need to identify the reasons you feel you were mis-sold (e.g you were self employed, you already had a medical condition, you were unemployed, they insisted you had to take it out etc etc) see this thread for a list of reasons

    http://www.consumeractiongroup.co.uk...claimants.html

You will also need to have all of the information to start with so if you don't already have all the statments, settlement Breakdownicon and contracts etc then send the following SARicon with a postal order for £10 to make the request (they must provide this information within 40 days) Also make sure you send the letter recorded delivery and keep the proof they received it.

    http://www.consumeractiongroup.co.uk...s-request.html

Once you have all the info you can then send off the mis-selling letter template, these letters can be found in the first post of this thread (scroll down the post til you found the heading "Template Letter 1"

    http://www.consumeractiongroup.co.uk...claimants.html

Hope that helps start you off! I would also suggest you have a read around the PPI forum particularly in the stickies at the top as there is alot of helpful information to assist you along the way and keep us updated

Oh forgot to say - alter that SARicon to suit your mothers needs as you probably don't want just statements for the period if they are only going to provide the same lumped together figures!
