Written by John Kruse, one of the leading experts on Bailiff Law, this consumer friendly guide is essential reading for anyone who comes into contact with a bailiff.
The book is easy to understand and clearly explains the rights
a bailiff has, and also what they cannot do when collecting debts and repossessing goods etc.
I am paying off some debts through various agencies, my largest debt being a Natwest loan that I took out in about 2000, which I am now paying AIC on a monthly basis. I'm certain I took PPI out on this loan running into thousands of pounds added onto the loan itself and therefore the amount I am now paying off.
Is it possible for me to claim for a refund for this?
I can't find a copy of my original agreement as all my belongings are in storage at the moment, do I need to contact Natwest or AIC for a copy of my agreement?
Also take a look around this PPI forum there is lots of info that will help you in relation to this (partiucularly in the stickies at the top!).
You need to see if any of the mis-selling reasons relate to you (for example if they told you it was compulsory, if you were self employed, if you already had a medical condition etc etc).
Which happens so often! In which case get off the SAR request and then Once you have all the info you can then send off the mis-selling letter template, these letters can be found in the first post of this thread (scroll down the post til you found the heading "Template Letter 1"
