Waltham Forest PCN- is it valid?
can anyone tell me if there are any legal reasons I can appeal this pcn .Is it legally worded ok? eg. date of issue, etc.

Were you loading/unloading at the time - could you prove otherwise?

The only exemption for this contravention is alighting or picking up passengers, which would have been evident at the time.

in fact, it did say no loading, so not sure if i have a defence.
I did have a blue disabled badge displayed, but ,again, not sure if this would help.

the ticket was timed 2 minutes after the time displayed on the badge clock.
presumably this is too soon to give me time to drop off my passenger,so i have a good defence.
can you suggest some good wording in my defence letter?

Whilst I would not advocate telling fibs, if you had actually stopped for the sole intention of picking up a disabled person who needs assistance, I would say that a lack of any credible observation time by the CEO would be grounds for the pcn to be cancelled.
