Thread: Egg Card/Black Horse and me

I need to reclaim PPI on an Egg credit card that is now with a DCA and has been for approx 3 years. When I tried to claim the claim was refused. Their reason was that I hadn't claimed quick enough. So Do i have a reason here to re claim the PPI or not? If I do can someone please point me in the right direction of how to doi this, please, letter templates etc. It must amount to quite allot of money as I have looked back at a couple of statements today and each month it was approx £50

I also had PPI with a Black Horse loan which is with their in house collections dept. Again when I tried to claim the claim was refused due to a pre existing condition. When I took this one out the guy told me it would cover me, obviously not.

I'm a total beginner with this one so i really need guidance

Do I need to send a SAR letter to Egg to find out the amount as I have no idea how much the total is? Also do I have to pay for the SAR the same as a CCA?

The best advice on here is to send a SAR it costs £10.
I personally did not bother.
You have a great case against Black Horse although from what I know they never refund.
Can you give us some more info i.e. what you owe Black Horse, when did you take out the loan, what is your medical condition, did you do a demands and needs statement with Black Horse.
