    Default PCN in Parking Bay

    Hello All,

New to the forum so a big hello to everyone. I recently received a pcnicon for overstaying my ticket. The bay is marked correctly but the only signs that were visable were ones that stated "pay at meter" or words to that effect. am I correct in thinking the parking times etc need to be displayed on a sign or are they ok just on the actual meter?

    Thanks
    Dave

If it was in a CPZ the times are as stated on zone signs.

Hi Everyone, i am new to the forum

i am looking for some advice on a traffic penalty which has been sent to my old address which we moved from 7months ago, i have just discovered it today. the penalty has occured on 26/10/07 the last notice from them dated 29/3.08 threatining me that the case will go to court.

at the time although i have notified dvla about the change of address, it seems that while contrevention occourred my details has not been changed yet.

a few weeks ago i had sold the car but worried that they will find the address of the new owner and might collect the car from the street, or they might find our new address and i dont know what will happen.

i was thinking to get in-touch with the authortity who issued the ticket and offer the original penanalty charges and hope that will sort the problem.
i would really appreciate any advice.
    Thanks

    What was the exact wording?

The only lawful sign states "pay at machine". "Pay at meter" is unlawful;, non-compliant and unenforceable.
