I just wondered if anyone has ever told a family member of a song they would like played at there funeral?

Whatever you choose, make sure that you request a decent sound equipment, or you'll end up like my mum, where the funeral directors had a crappy cd player that skipped and repeated non-stop through Albinoni's Adagio, which had been her request all her life, and turned a moment which should have been filled with dignity into a farce. Trust me, you can't grieve properly when you have M.C. Albinoni in da house, yo.

A colleague at work died unexpectedly the other week and this was played. Apparently it was her favourite song for karaoke.
