    Default Budget planner

I am in the process of writing to my creditors to offer a reduction in payment, and am currently working over my budget planner - no wonder I'm in so much trouble. Anyway - if i didn't have debt id be living with in my means so o should be able to afford to live now quite comfortably, the problem is most of the debts we have are from a long time back before i earned a reasonable wage, so as my wages go up the CC's up the limit, we ended up using those, and the increase in salary paid off part of the cards each month. Anyway thats besides the point.

What I want to know is can I legitimately put things like holidayicon, ciggies (wife, not me), Sky TV, school fees etc down with out prejudicing my position? Also is there any guidance on the amount say for food per person per month? and clothing - we don't spend a lot but have two growing kids - so cost are going up.

Anyone have experience of this? I just would like some idea of what i can put down as acceptable costs etc

    Thanks for that.

I think the numbers i have put down should be ok. If they accept the offer of a reduced payment how will it impact my credit reference? Any ideas?

My wife has spent a small fortune of credit cards and has a loan - all without my knowledge.

As all these items are in my wife's name, am I liable for her debt?

If not would my finances need to be put on a budget planner when she has to complete one?

Doing this would mean I am paying for her debts?

I would be obliged for some answers on these important questions.

    Thanks
