    Default Nationwide ppi first post

Hi could someone please advise me, my brother has a mortgageicon with Nationwideicon and was sold payment protection with unemployment cover. He has been of work for two years sick but did not claim pp, in decemeber they made him redundanticon due to sickness he claimed for pp and it has been turned down because he is on incapacity benefit. Does anyone have any ideas what we could do, cause if he was to change his claim to job seekers or income support he will need to look for job however his illness is the same.

any sort of help or advice will be great

    many thanks

Why didnt your brother claim off the PPIicon whilst he was off sick before being made redundanticon ??. I dont understand why the incapacity benefit would invalidate his claim. He has been made unemployed therefore the claim should be valid.

If he is claiming incapacity, would he qualify for any disablement benefits. Check that one out with the Citizens Advice Bureau x

When the Liberals and Conservatives were in opposition, they both agreed that banks should pay back high bank charges to customers. Nothing seems to have happened since they came into power as a coalition. PPI Insurance has been sorted. Now they should turn their attention to bank charges and help customers get exorbitant charges refunded.
