and the pics are below, I was called out to look at a location where a disabled friend had got a ticket. In the pic on the right three cars can be seen in the top of the pic, they were parked in suspended disabled bays, the council are supposed to provide Disabled bays nearby by law, so they suspended the pay and display bays outside The Wellsprings, only problem was they used lots of NO PARKING CONES with the no parking Roundel on them to do this, on the other Pic I deployed the large cones so nobody else would get a ticket, I contacted the council and told them I would not inform the Bolton News if they cancelled the 8 tickets that had been issued, after four weeks I had no reply from the Council so I emailed them to find out if the tickets had been cancelled, they emailed back as much to say that it is nothing to do with you, so up yours, their email fired me up into making the Council look idiots for the way they had handled the whole fiasco, so I got in touch with the Bolton News who gladly printed the story, Bolton Parking Services manager and assistant manager and Bolton NCP Services have got my vote for the Numpties of the year, anyone who would like to give em a vote email parkingservices@bolton.go v.uk in the subject box, write BUNGLERS OF THE YEAR VOTE then in the message area write, I would like to give you my vote for BUNGLERS OF THE YEAR AWARD for the inept way you handled the temporary suspension of disabled parking bays in Victoria Sq South in April by deploying No Parking cones so as to let others know they could park within them.
I've had a run in with this lot too. they're terrible. for a 30 quid fine which i ended up getting written off, i had to endure nearly a year of them failing to follow procedures and completely ignoring any letters or representations i sent to them
