Written by John Kruse, one of the leading experts on Bailiff Law, this consumer friendly guide is essential reading for anyone who comes into contact with a bailiff.
The book is easy to understand and clearly explains the rights
a bailiff has, and also what they cannot do when collecting debts and repossessing goods etc.
I have always used Tesco's but never again, I purchased value sausages (the only ones my kids will eat) last week they have always been 55p, I went in yesterday and the price had shot up to £1.21, I even queiried the price at the checkout before putting them back, and was told they were the correct price, I then went online tonight only to find that if you order them online they are still 55p, I then phoned tesco to find out what was going on and he said he couldn't answer that, he then made a grave slip up and said the Store it's self set's the price, I repeated this back to him and he said, well on some occasions, but sometimes they are sent down from head office, I live in an area of Wales which consist of elderly people and low income families, who constantly buy the value range, I know because they are frequently out of stock of the range, so it strikes me, that this particular Tesco store will stoop to highering their value range so they are within pennies of the likes of Wall's and other named brands, I just wanted people to be aware, and check their Tesco's prices because they are making a hell of a lot of money out of the poorer people and putting prices sky high on products that are popular in that particular area even if they are the value range and this must be horrendous for people in the country, who have only one store close and buy value products because they can't afford named brands, it's disgusting, I know I will never shop there again, I would rather go out of my way and travel 15 miles further to ASDA, I just really feel for the people who don't have a car to do it like me !!!!!
I have noticed that the main supermarkets like Tescos, Waitrose etc are not very busy at the moment, probally because of the huge rise in food prices, whereas Nettos and Iceland are packed.
