Written by John Kruse, one of the leading experts on Bailiff Law, this consumer friendly guide is essential reading for anyone who comes into contact with a bailiff.
The book is easy to understand and clearly explains the rights
a bailiff has, and also what they cannot do when collecting debts and repossessing goods etc.
So I am hoping that posting this new thread will force me into being disciplined enough to follow the process in a timely manner.
Have hardly any exact figures now as paid off all loans(at last) although will be sending my SAR tomorrow(taken from another kind link on site) requesting info, also sending the other form for terms and conditions.
Will update thread as I go with updates in each section.
Checking the back part of m brain I had.
3 loans, a graduate and 2 select totalling best part of £30-35k, all with PPI. When paying them all was paying best part of £800 a month in unsecured debt. Clearly now I realise this was nowhere near good enough from them and used this to their advantage of telling me I MUST protect these.
So here I go - I am so grateful to this site and the helpers as it gives me the confidence to oppose these - especially as they still hold my main bank account.
Sorry, I've just noticed that you haven't had a reply yet. This isn't my area of expertise............. but hopefully somebody will be along soon to advise you further/point you in the right direction.
Best of luck
Any typos spelling mistakes are due to leprechauns in my keyboard they move the letters around sometimes (amended just for Bookie)
