I have taken out Hire Purchase agreement and was wondering if I settled early would I get a rebate of the option to purchase fee, or am I liable to the whole fee?
If you settled early then you would get an interest rebate, but the option to purchase fee would still be payable as part of the overall settlement figure beause by settling you would be exercising the 'option to purchase' the vehicle and ownership would transfer to you.
