Written by John Kruse, one of the leading experts on Bailiff Law, this consumer friendly guide is essential reading for anyone who comes into contact with a bailiff.
The book is easy to understand and clearly explains the rights
a bailiff has, and also what they cannot do when collecting debts and repossessing goods etc.
Really not sure if I have posted correctly as brand new to site, although I have studied all of the information for hours now..
Over the last 6 years I have accumulated all sorts of charges on my bank account, credit cards and had 4 loans all with PPI (which I thought was compulsory, including 2 individual loans sold 1 day apart as would not sanction the larger amount apparently)
As I am largely dis-organised I have decided to attack these 1 at a time to ensure that I follow the laid down process emphatically. I did consider using a company to do this but 25% commission + VAT must be too much. I can do this...
Getting to the point :
I no longer have any account numbers for the loans and attached PPI, tried to be good shredding & am wondering if I can do the SAR based upon my address and other affiliation with the repspective banks; Lloyds (3) & Halifax (1) ???
I am grateful for any help you provide and will post all updates in the respective threads, including my attack on the credit cards next (I have had 7 with loads of charges !!)
You would be better starting a new thread in all your Banks or Credit Card companies Forums, and keep them updated so people can help you out.
Your right about not paying anyone to do the work for you, you will get all the help and guidance on this site, without paying a penny.(well maybe a small donation, when the cash comes rolling in)
Good luck with all your claims, no doubt I'll see you around the Forums.
Regards.
Scott.
