I overstayed my time in a CPZ, my car was ticketed after 6 minutes and subsequently removed. I arrived at the scene while the tow truck was still there. Are there any precedents of appeals succeeding on grounds of disproportionate penalty - in my case, only 12 minutes remained until parking was free for everyone, car was not creating hazard or obstruction? Or am I wasting my time?
Towed for overstay - grounds for appeal??
