    Hi Manic

click here for your other thread - http://www.consumeractiongroup.co.uk...laycard-x.html

Or, you could have gone back to the BC forum page and looking down the list of threads. You go back by using the directory at the top of this page -

The Consumer Forums > The Consumer Forums The Bank Action Group - against unlawful bank charges> Barclays Bank > Barclaycard Mum v Barclaycard Gold

You'd click on "Barclaycard" to do this.

    Thanks Slick.

Am I correct in thinking my parents can reclaim all of their charges on these cards back? Or should we just claim for those prior to them changing to £12.00?

Thing is, the craft beggers charge them £12.00 for being over the overdrafticon and a further £12.00 for late payment even though they very rarly send anything to them other than the statements!

    Hi ManicB,

Enter them all on the whichever spreadsheet you are going to use - either Simple spready ot the Advanced spready if you are going to try and reclaim Contractual interesticon on top.

Have a read here about claiming CI. Also, there's a spready linked in the Credit Card section which you may find easier to use.

Please be aware that if you claim CI, BC will drag their heels and refuse to repay. You will have to File your claim at court and they may not settle until the day of the Hearing. But, with a claim that goes back 6 yearsicon, the interest may be considerable.

So if you want an easy claim and are not too worried about fighting for CI on top, just use the Simple spready - you'll only get the 8% interest on top if you have to File the claim at court.

Just a thought - if you have state's going back beyond 6 yearsicon, include older charges as well.

As BC appear to have no proper agreement for this card, ask for ALL the chgs to be refunded to reduce the a/c balance.
