read the step by step instructions, your timetable should be:
-Data Protection Act request if you dont have statements
-preliminary approach letter once you have/ if you already have statements and can identify charges
-Letter before action (lba) after 14 days if no satisfactory response has been received
-Small Claims Court - file claim 14 days after LBA if no satisfacory reponse has been received.
