Written by John Kruse, one of the leading experts on Bailiff Law, this consumer friendly guide is essential reading for anyone who comes into contact with a bailiff.
The book is easy to understand and clearly explains the rights
a bailiff has, and also what they cannot do when collecting debts and repossessing goods etc.
I have just recieved a parking ticket. I have also been told that you have 5 minutes grace from the warden starts to write the ticket, untill it is place on the vehicle. I.E. on the ticket time first seen 16.02 Time issued 16.05. As I have not got the ticket to hand (in the car), I can't give exact times or wordage. But I would like to know if there has to be a 5 minute gap between the two times, or is this just an urban myth. I would be grateful if anyone out there can help.

There is no grace period you are either parked illegally or not. The CEO needs to observe your vehicle to assertain whether you are parked legally, which in your case would be if you was loading or not, before issuing the ticket. If you are observed not loading the ticket could be issued instantly, for example if you were seen leaving the vehicle and join a queue at a cash point it would be apparent that loading was not taking place.
