I would like to claim back charges from a RBS Credit card I have held for about 10 years. Do I follow the same format as the normal Banks, IE firstly ask for a Breakdown of charges and interest in the last six years ?
and also i recently closed a different CC account with the RBS (6 months ago), can i write and ask for the same information from them ? and as I am no longer a customer, do i still have the same rights ?
yes , no problem, its the same institution therefore you can send them a dpa request letter but ask for details on both accounts, (dont forget your £10 fee )

i phoned to ask for the address to write too and she offered the info free in the post within 2 weeks. This is ok isnt it ?
I can still continue as normal
wait until you get anything from them first and double check it to see if it tallies up with what you thought it should be, if it fine, then just send your preliminary letter and continue from there
