Thread: CARR vs NATWEST

Hi everyone


Just e-mailed data protection letter requesting statements to Nat WEST

Have I done the right thing sending to general queries address (e-mail), or should I have sent by post. I will see what and when they come back with.

Also I have/had a Natwest credit card (with lots of charges on). Shall I contact them as well.

Excited this has all started but a bit nervous. I remember all the stress NATWEST have caused me over the past few years- so hopefully it is payback time

Not doing this long myself but i wouldnt email as there is no good records. I gave the letter to my branch manager with the £10 fee required if you cant do that send it to your branch manager also i dont think recorded delivery would be a bad idea

ps dont forget £10 fee it may cause delaying tactics

Yes, I though as much. I will print out letter and take to nearest branch for them to pass on.

I also have Natwest credit card- can I ask for both sets of record together, with same £10 fee?

Letter sent- so will wait for statements for bank account and credit card

Still waiting for full set of statements (early days)

BUT- when looking at statements for last six months, I realise that they have charged me over £800 in charges.

Rather than waiting, shall I/can I start proceeding to claim this back- I'm in Scotland , so max is £750 per claim.
