    Default Terms & Conditions/Lloyds PPI 2001

    Hi.

Please does anyone have the copy of the policy details, t&c's of Lloydsicon TSB Credit Card PPIicon for approx 2001/02 ?

I have been send a copy of the agreement today and noticed a ticked yes for ppi, but cannot remember much about this, even though I was a Homemaker, and ticked a homemaker so don't know how this would have covered me anyway.

This was paid off in 2004 in full and the letter I received today was to inform me they do not believe this was mis sold but if I have further information to help reconsider the complaint.

(As I had requested for a refund due to believing I was mis sold the ppi), and with only learning over the last year of all the mis selling I remembered about this one.
I used to think insurance was a part of any agreement, such as loans, credit cards etc.

Any info will be a great help for me to get the ball rolling here again, I have mis laid the T&C's and policy details for that year above due to moving house since.

    Thanks folks, much appreciated.

    Di.

Hi Di, sorry if i've misunderstood, but did Lloydsicon not send you a copy of the t & cs with the policy? If they haven't they should have!!

Did you request the agreement under a Consumer Credit Act (CCA)?

I'm midway through the tunnel, but getting closer to the light.

Hi there and thanks for your reply.

As it was a few years ago (2001) I have possibly mislaid these documents, but am in the process of requesting on a basis of a SARicon etc, but again its 7 years now and not sure what they would have on me.

However, with the letter they did send me a copy of the agreement, so that says they still have information.
They did state on the letter we were sent the above, but they did not send me a copy of these with this letter and agreement the other day.

What gets me is that being a 'Homemaker' where would I be eligible for PPIicon ?
And to what I can recall is that nothing was asked or advised and believe then this would not have been advised.

Even though my hubby works etc I was not an additional holder but sold this as an individual where I only received my children's benefits.

So not certain where I would stand in this situation is not had a job in the first place to claim on.

I am open to any suggestions.

    Many thanks again.

    Di.

I am just wondering, is the account now closed or open? I only ask as i think claims can only go back 6 yearsicon BUT that's not to say there's any harm in trying!!

Have a look at this thread: here!

It helps to go through that and see if you can tick any of the points they raise, which i'm sure you can

Thanks to both Helpful & Alana.

Very useful information that is great thank you both, will check these out again later.

In response to your question Hopeful, I paid off in full in 2004 when we purchased our home, and obviously borrowed the extra on the mortgageicon to clear this out of the way.
Basically when I paid this off I sent a letter to let them know I would now like to cancel, this was sent by recorded delivery, and I know it reached them, however I did not receive a reply but just assumed that would be it, and no more cards will be sent.

I did wonder though after why I was still receiving statements, even though they stated nil balance, so ignored these, but now I realise how silly I must have been because the letter i received the other day stated PPIicon is still in force if I would like to cancel and funny enough a new card did come through the other month, same account numbers and everything, but again being stupid thought well I do not use it and the balance is still nil, so it got me thinking when I read the letter where is also stated if you would like us to cancel this please let us know....... .

I will see what comes back but did assume it was closed, and at least I suppose it works in my favour for the information I do need regarding the SARicon. .

I will keep you all posted and will now check out those links you both sent me.
    Thank you so much indeed.

    Di.
