Written by John Kruse, one of the leading experts on Bailiff Law, this consumer friendly guide is essential reading for anyone who comes into contact with a bailiff.
The book is easy to understand and clearly explains the rights
a bailiff has, and also what they cannot do when collecting debts and repossessing goods etc.
Its nice to see Im not the only one that has been robbed by alliance and leicester...
I will be sending out my Subject access request letter - List of charges vey soon, so I will keep you posted
I have never been so excited to see a failed charge on my bank statement
Don't get too excited Geoff, you could be in for a bit of a roller-coaster ride.
And we all know they are designed to make you feel sick!
Great when you get off at the end though!
Good luck, and make sure you've opened a parachute account - you'll need one as A&L are closing accounts of customers [or victims as I like to call them] who claim back charges.
I do have one major concern though...
I opened a business account with alliance & Leicester just over a year ago now for my new electrical contracting business.
Can Alliance and Leicester close this account if I claim for bank charges made on my now closed personal account??
Any help and advice would be very much appreciated
Re: FSA position on account closures and default charges
Could some one give me some advice please ?
My personal account with A&L has now been closed due to my own fault and I wish to claim for all the bank charges applied to that account...... But I also have a buisness account with them, Im not sure If I sould claim at the risk of them closing my buisness account
