Written by John Kruse, one of the leading experts on Bailiff Law, this consumer friendly guide is essential reading for anyone who comes into contact with a bailiff.
The book is easy to understand and clearly explains the rights
a bailiff has, and also what they cannot do when collecting debts and repossessing goods etc.
Online Finance is a "debt Recovery Service" as far as I know. I went through a really rough finacial patch that resulted in me having my debt transferred to them. I was paying £166 per month for the car I had bought but after being transferred payments shot up to £350 for a period of 4-5 months plus £50 to change a direct debit date, £40 to change address if they add charges to your account then you are not allowed to pay them by direct debit, they send you a card to pay them at the post office and charge £30 for the card.
Can I claim these phenominal charges back from this company as it is not a bank?
I'd best leave this to someone who knows better, seems a bit fishy tho! sorry i cant help further
