had a letter from cobbetts today offering a settlement.
there is no costs or interest added to thier offer and they say that i should accept because if it goes to court they will win.
cobbetts always come up with suprises dont they.
can you believe it, 6 phone calls today from Cobbetts, discussions on the figures to settle.
initially refused any interest but are now going to pay, but will not cover any of my claim for costs.
last call of the day have agreeed a settlement figure which is virtually what i wanted.
a cheque should be on its way as we speak.
