Thread: washing machine makes holes in clothes huh

Hi, i bought a washine machine from comet scratch & dent about 2 years ago and have now had 4 replacment machines under guarentee different problems with different ones. This one i have has made so many holes in my clothes. The engineer is coming out this week but tbh im really annoyed about the clothes. Does anyone know if i can get some sort of compensation and also how i go about it or do you think my insurance would cover it? any advice would be helpful!

I would make a complaint and ask that they compensate you for your damaged property.

They will probably send a loss-adjuster out.

I know there was a legal case back in the 30s I think on this very issue (it was commercial). I am sure they claimed successfully for the damaged clothes. I do not see why you should not be compensated for them.
