Hi, wondered if anyone could help me here. I had a current account and a loan with RBS and safe to say I did not run things well and ended with loads of charges (which ive been refunded all of :-)). I closed the accounts and never headr more of it.

Then when I get me credit reports through the post I see 3 defaults from RBS from each one of the accounts I had. Ive written so many letters to them and finally I got copies of the defaults which they had sent to an old address of mine but something just doesnt look right with them and I so badly need these removed.

Are they entitled to give me 3 defaults as the accounts all tied in with each other?

I have also sent them a SAR request to find out if the default amounts included the charges, which I think they did, but ive no had response and only days left until they dont comply. Whats my next step with that also?

MBNA - £308.40 charges refunded

Halifax - £190.00 charges refunded

RBS - £2100.00 bank charges refunded :p

RBS - Pursuing PPI claim and removal of 3 defaults

Barclaycard - £290.00 charges refunded

T-Mobile - default removed

Littlewoods - no CCA - removed account

Forth Housing - CCJ to remove

Lloyds TSB - Pursuing refund of £800 charges

JD Williams - no CCA - pursuing

Hi, FLT.

Here's the Non-Complience Templates.......

http://www.consumeractiongroup.co.uk/forum/bank-templates-library/6986-data-protection-act-non.html

Defaults are a nightmare, I won my claim against HBOS last week and phoned Blair, Oliver and Scott, regarding the default removal.

They would not play ball, said the default was because I had missed 7 months worth of payments :o

I'm not sure what your next move will be regarding the defaults, hopefully someone else will.

Regards.

Scott.

Any advice I give is honest and in good faith.:)

Pretty sure that as part of the Consumer Credit Act 1974 you are meant to be sent notices of default - did you get these?

Advice offered by ENRON is without prejudice and is for your judgement as to whether to take it. You should seek the assistance or hire of a solicitor or other paid professional if in doubt.
