settlement. When they come back and say they will offer a 10% discount at most, I reply, oh so you are offering to settle for 10% of the amount of the alleged debt. The call centre staff at Metropolitan don't even know what a credit agreement is, in the end they end up telling me there is no credit agreement between me and the originator, because the debt is now with Metropolitan. I wish I had that in writing lol.
