Hi There
My Partner recently received a parking chargefor Unauthorised Parking in Manchester. She had parked unknowingly in a parking spot used by residential flats. Seh accepts there was signage, a short distance away, which she hadn't noticed and although disgruntled, is happy to pay the fine.
The bugbear is that the charge is £85 reduced to £60 if you pay within 14 days. Bearing in mind a standard council parking chargeis only £60 (£30 if you pay within 28days), I find this kind of sum to be extortionate to say the least.
Has anyone ever dealt with this company before (Central Ticketing), and is there anyway of them accpeting a lesser payment - for example £30 or £40.
Look forward to the replies.
Thanks
Graham Rawlinson
