Written by John Kruse, one of the leading experts on Bailiff Law, this consumer friendly guide is essential reading for anyone who comes into contact with a bailiff.
The book is easy to understand and clearly explains the rights
a bailiff has, and also what they cannot do when collecting debts and repossessing goods etc.
I have had an ongoing gripe for the last 6 months or so, this might get CAGbot out so apologies to anyone who this offends but I need to get it off my chest .
In Birmingham as I'm sure is the case around the country we have people on the streets selling "The Big Issue" magazine, these are people who are down on their luck and trying to make a few pence for a night in a hostel or a meal... brilliant idea, giving people the means to better their lot in life without actually begging for money.
My problem is that over the last 6 months these people seem to have changed... all the "man and a dog" type people have gone and have been replaced with eastern European women selling the magazines, most of whom can hardly pronounce "Big Issue". I can understand people comming here from poorer European country's to work but comming here to sell the Big Issue??? and where have our own "home grown" people down on their luck gone?...
I think our open immigration policies are going to cause major problems very soon, if the migrant "workers" are resorting to this then the unskilled job market must be saturated too.
Gawd help us all if the British Nationalist party start to gain more influence through this :-|
My son recently started a job in a packing warehouse (had been finished by his previous employers due to no work for the foreseeable future and this was the only job he could get) was told after only 3 shifts that he would proberbly be promoted to a supervisor as he was one of the few 'English people' employed there the vast majority being Polish or Iraqi ....... He was highly amused to discover that they had a 'toilet' specifically for one group of immigrants ..........

Even in Scotland this seems to be the case (I live in Paisley so we have a sort of spillage from Glasgow I guess).
Croydon, home of the Home Office immigration building, (which I saw in the local paper has been renamed something else now, it took me a few minutes to work out what building they meant ), we still have man and dog, demented rastaman as well as woman in headscarf. Still, they deny it the "city" status it craves. Sheesh...
My friends have visited Dublin many times for 'Paddys Day' they said they are not going again cos all the staff in the bars were 'Eastern European'. The friendly Irish character has gone out of the place. If they are not the only ones who think this then what effect will it have on tourism?
Couldn't agree more Castlebest - they all hang around our local wealthy supermarkets and I refuse out of principle to buy one.....however I will if it is from one of "our own". Not PC I know, and I'll probably get CAGbotted but they boast about how much they take from us in handouts and are able to send back home. Grrr!!
You have to wonder how much the European migrant workforce is helping our economy and how much its actually undermining it.
We now have a large pool of mobile unskilled labour in Europe that is flocking to the historical manufacturing areas, not just in the UK but all over western Europe, however vast sections of the unskilled work is now done in the far east at a fraction of the cost.
Will be interesting to see how the government handle the unemployment figures in the comming months/years
Interesting to note, that throughout the history of Europe, there has been wave upon wave of migrant hordes descending from the East.
...Just what DO they put in that miraculous 'fertility' drug that they call VODKA??...
