If someone reports the matter to the Police because they've never had the contract/credit as is being claimed, gets a crime number and informs the DCA that is what has happened, you could reasonably expect that would be the end of the matter. The creditor can take it up with the Police if they want.

The original DCA should now be prosecuted for knowingly selling this account onto another company and allowing the abuse and harassment to continue. The fact of the matter is that they will not accept that they make mistakes, and to expect people to send them a signature, or other personal data is absolutely outrageous. They act as if they have some kind of authority over you. Thank God the person who made that video had the sense to just flatly refuse. How many people get caught out by the dishonesty of these companies ??

On the other hand, the fact DCA1 sold it to DCA2 or got them to act their behalf knowing it could land them (2) in a nasty situation underlines the fact they won't hesitate to poop on their own, all for the sake of a few quid on a mobile 'phone contract which in reality as we now know is worth pennies, not pounds.

How despicable are these 'people'?? Let's hope the forthcoming depression (or downturn if you prefer) kills some of the worst of them off once and for all.
