Has anyone had unreasonable demands for deposit settlements from English Country Cottages? I booked a cottage for an August holiday in March, cancelled due to unforeseen cirumstances five days later, and now they are asking for a third of the total cost of the holiday. Surely this isn't right?
Re: English Country Cottages - unreasonable demands?
No that wont be right. They cannot say that the cottage will not be let in August. Hold off until then and ring and see it there are any cottages to rent, if there are none then they have lost nothing.
