Can any one advise me who is the best to go with for life and critical illness cover?

In terms of illnesses covered and payout history.

I was told AXA had paid most life/critical claims out this year where as norwich union only 1 in 4.

and that AXA covered more illnesses life breast cancer and masectomy where as norwich union didn't.

Thanks

Lindsey

I'm afraid you've been misinformed - in the first 6 months of 2007, Norwich Union paid 86% of its critical illness claims. Source: NU critical illness claim payouts on the increase - Life insurance quote, Life insurance, Term life insurance, Life insurance rate

Also there's this: 652.05 at 17:49 Aviva Investor : News

These are the latest figures I've been able to find by searching on Google.

This website has a list of which illnesses are covered: Critical illness insurance : Norwich Union : Mortgage Life Insurance with critical illness option

It says cancer, so I'd assume it would include breast cancer as well.
