RBOS Bank Charges

I have received a response from my initial letter claiming charges are fair, reasonable and transparent. I am now going to proceed to the small claims court. How do I word the claim on-line ?

as long as you have follwed the DPA/Prelim/lba icon

path there should be no problem. The FAQ section even has a Guide For Completing Moneyclaim section with all of the details, it's very much worth reading that and also a few of the threads that are a bit further down the line regarding letters from Corbetts and the CPR18 rules.

If you've only sent one letter then your a little way off filing a court claim yet. As BigCol mentioned, make sure you have sent an initial request and then a LBA (letter before action icon

) giving them the 14 days each time to respond. You have to be able to show the court that you have been reasonable in your requests and given the bank time to respond. Only after sending both these letters should you go forward to file a claim.

Many thanks for the advice. Have now received a letter from RBOS Head Office refusing any refund. Am about to go on MCOL. The standard format for the claim in the library shows the date of contract with the bank. Unfortunately I do not have this date, is it important. Any advice would help.
