The book is easy to understand and clearly explains the rights

Hi everyone!!
I have just made a claim under the "WHATEVER HAPPENS" policy my crt tv was damaged with golf club and the screen cracked,i telephoned currys and they arranged to have the tv picked up, a week after it was in the repair shop i get a phone call arranging for the tv to be delivered back to me,i thought "GREAT" that was quick well done currys. Then the "BOMBSHELL", i recieve a letter saying "your tv is being returned unrepaired our technicians have inspected your product and whilst the damage is consistent with the incident it is not covered by your service agreement as this excludes damage caused by neglect, abuse or misuse".. It is now in the hands of a investigator, How dare these people be so judgemental, this was a genuine accident involving my stepson. The anoying thing is i can only appeal in writing, does anyone have a telephone number for the claims investigation dept in hemel hempstead ???cos i cant find it.
speak to you sssssooooon
I know but you will only end up bursting a blood vessel (and that's just trying to get to speak to one after you are told there are no supervisors (yeah right), they will call you back (after you have called back 20 times)). Better to gnash your teeth and put them to rights in writing.
its not about shouting at them, its about having a vebal conversation with someone dealing with my case, they are quick enough to take the money from my bank for the last two years, and when it comes to me making a claim for a genuine accident, they give me bull**** about neglect and misuse "IT AINT GOOD ENOUGH"
Any advice given by me is based solely on my experience in claiming, my experience in CAG or my opinion. I have no legal background. I want to encourage others to reclaim what is theirs.
Got a DCA breaking OFT guidance. Complain to the OFT about the DCA. Help put an end to these practices-
crt? there well solid i can remember taking a hammer to one and still having to go throught the back (i was 10 at the time) as several solid blows with a hammer had still only chiped it.
in these cases they will ONLY comunicate through the written claims address at the top of the letter
