Hubby's car now needs more cash spent on it than it is worth, so is currently off road. We both have to travel a lot for work and carry a lot of 'stuff' with us, so we need to have our own cars.
We have a poor credit rating and i really don't want to go down the route of using sub prime companies for loans.
Ideally hubby could do with a small van. Is leasing an option or will it be dependent on credit checks? Any advice / comments will be much appreciated.
Leasing is a form of 'never never' and anyone who gives you something of value that you pay monthly for is likely to do a search.
Don't let that stop you applying though, you might get it, but in any case you will know where you stand.
