    hello every one

    can any one answer this question.
    is a yellow box junction legal when it is 20ft from light s
    and the roads either side of box junction are dead ends ,
    and you can only go straight on or turn right at the lights?
    thanks for any help

    Just to clarify, there is a set of lights at which approx two cars can wait and behind that is a box junction to allow cars in and out of the two cul de sac side streets?

    there used to be a sschool on the right turn side which are now flats ,

    As long as it's marked correctly and the TRO (Traffic Regulation Order) is in place it's completely legal. there doesn't have to be side roads so it isn't always a junction (level crossings are one example).
