Mis-sold PPI: GE MONEY/FIRST NATIONAL/INDEPENDENT FINANCE CORP
by the Independent Finance Corp (acting as a broker for First National Home Finance, which later became GE Money). I have complained to the Financial Ombudsman Service, who initially ruled in my favour - but GE Money then piped up to say it wasn't them who sold it, it was IFC, and conveniently in November 2003 they weren't covered by the fos

,i wasted 3 months for them to look into it ,ge responded to them with a letter they sent me 6 weeks before that.ge pay the fla to be a member so the fla look after the banks interests, like when the fsa proposes any changes .they do not regulate the banks !.so if they have done wrong the fla have no authority over the bank to order it to correct the problem.
