Written by John Kruse, one of the leading experts on Bailiff Law, this consumer friendly guide is essential reading for anyone who comes into contact with a bailiff.
The book is easy to understand and clearly explains the rights
a bailiff has, and also what they cannot do when collecting debts and repossessing goods etc.
on Tuesday I got a bloody pcn from that company, saying i overstayed in Sainsburys carpark.
Today i tried to go online and pay for the fine, type in my PCn numbers and everything, number plate not there as blank, make of the car etc just ask me to pay for it. Look like a [problem] to me.
Just wonder has anyone pay up using online thing?
I am gonna to appeal for the mis-issue the pcn anyway, should i pay £30 within 14 days first during the appeal period?
Read the sticky at the top of the page - its a private car parking charge, not a council one.
Euro car parks are one of the largest private parking companies in the uk. Sainsburys use them all over the country, as do tesco (where they have not got their anpr cameras), and most management agents do.
They dont take photos or even have a camera on them, and I have yet to hear a case go to court from them. They issue so many 'tickets' that its probably not worth it, they make a mint out of those who dont find this site !!. Thank god for google.

should i pay up and appeal, or just appeal dont pay up?
As per the sticky, and many other posters avice on here - simply do nothing at this stage. Euro will write to you in about a months time, which will of cost them £2.50 to get your details.
Then just send them the template letter.
You did read the sticky, didnt you ????

I read the sticky, but if i ignore the pcn now, when they send me a letter in a mouth time will i have to pay in full £50 instead of £30?
Look at this another way - if you don't pay them now, you only save £30 whereas if you don't pay them in a month's time you save a whopping £50 - go for the bigger saving.
If you did read the "sticky" you must know that a private company cannot "fine" you. They just pretend that they can, must people are hoodwinked into paying, thinking that they have to.
Don't be a mug, stand firm, DON'T PAY.
Either ignore or use Bernie's templates, but don't initiate correspondance.
I was just composing a reply that said ' Pay them now, otherwise they will come and take your wife, car and house away, and the fine will go up to £1million '.
I was going to advise them to re read the guide again, and come back with any questions if they didnt understand it.
PS Barnsley - Ive noticed you've stolen my signature line !!.

You've got me bang to rights. They do say imitation is the sincerest form of flattery. Thought it was succinct, says what needs to be said. If you are genuinely offended I will of course remove it.
Not at all offended. Although this forms a contract, which you agree to pay me £90 per post that you make with it.
I will write to you every time you use it, then write to you threatening all sorts of debt collectors after you dont pay. I will ignore all your appeals, leaving the debt collectors to abuse you. When they dont get anywhere, I wont take you to court, as I have no evidence of the original contract.
Seriously though, no problems whatsoever.

But there is no law that says you have to pay these [problem]mers. Only the driver enters into a contract, and nobody is going to tell you (opps, i mean 'euro car parks') that, when they dont legally have to.
Redesign your tickets so they tell the truth, redesign your letters you send out to the RK to tell the truth, stop using the word penalty on your tickets and signs, give your wardens a digital camera each, so they can take photos of 'offenders', and most of all - take some people to court. When you loose the cases, then hopefully you will realise you have to change your business practices.

Payment online is the quickest way to settle outstanding charges. Euro Carparks system is safe, fast and secure.
