    Default This Probably Isn't The Place To Ask But...

    My PC keeps switching itself off - something to do with hardware fault. Should I get an engineer out or can I fix it myself.
    Any help would be appreciated cos I'm getting really frustrated with it and may do it some fatal harm if it doesn't pack it in!!......cassie

    Could be a dodgy fan? The processor will shut itself down if it thinks it's getting too hot.

    Fans are pretty cheap and easy to fit if that's what it is
