Default Scared v RBS Credit Card - Defence Filed

    Hi all

I've successfully claimed on my bank accounts and am now working on reclaiming on my Natwesticon Credit Card. I've been trawling through the site and can't find any relevant information so I'm hoping some one can help or point me in the right direction.

After following the usual procedure, the case has gone to court and I've received a copy of the defence from the RBSicon Group Litigation - has anyone else been this far with RBS? What happens next?? Please help, I'm in new and scary territory here!!

Don't be too scared... i've been through the full process against Citi including appearing at court.

I'm taking on Mint now (RBSicon group), so have had the same RBS defence through the post that you probably have.

Having gone through the process with another firm, I know what to do including weaknesses which apply to all card firms. So get in touch by PMing me.

Thanks all for your good thoughts and wishes. Enron, I have PM'd you with the details.

The court has ordered a stay pending the OFT test case. I'm sure that there is a letter somewhere asking for the stay to be lifted as it applies to bank accounts, not credit cards - I'm off to find it now.

After 2 days of trawling I can't seem to find a suitable letter/response to the court. All I have found is how to apply for a removal of a stay that the bank has asked for, in my case the Judge has issued the stay. Can anyone help?

Also, haven't heard from you Enron, have I baffled you???

Thanks everyone for your help and support - but yesterday I recieved my cheque!!

Am quite relieved I don't have to go to court but would have gone out of principle anyway.

Can someone please change my thread title to WON status?

Sorry for not getting in touch, been busy so must have slipped through the net.

I received an envelope yesterday which satisfactorally concludes my claim for penalty charges as well.

Just going to wait to see if they comply with my SARicon for 6 months of missing statements and 6 yearsicon worth of manual intervention sheets.

Also considerring sending a CCA request to get a copy of the agreement.
